Statistical Notes for Non-Statisticians Workshop at Dentistry Faculty

Shayan: On November 5th, 2023, the Faculty of Dentistry at Tishk International University (TIU) hosted a Workshop on Statistical Notes for Non-Statisticians. Dr. Shaho Ziyad Talabani, a Ph.D. graduate from the University of Dundee, UK, spearheaded the workshop, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from 56 attendees representing TIU staff and the Kurdistan Board of Medical Specialties. The event, comprising both theory and hands-on sessions, was sponsored by Spectrum Lab.

Dr. Shaho Ziyad Talabani, an expert in the field, provided invaluable guidance and mentorship to all participants, making the workshop an enriching experience. The two sessions catered to diverse learning styles and ensured the workshop’s effectiveness.

The workshop aimed to demystify the complex world of statistics for medical researchers who may not have formal training in the field.
